Apple ID Accounts
For Apple ID accounts that you use to control NC State devices, the best practice is to change the email associated with the devices from an @ncsu.edu to an @unity.ncsu.edu email until NC State can begin to use institutional Apple IDs later in 2024. Any Unity account, generic account or alias that exists as @ncsu.edu, also exists as @unity.ncsu.edu. For example, yourUnityID@ncsu.edu also exists as yourUnityID@unity.ncsu.edu. Associating your Apple ID that controls NC State devices to the @unity.ncsu.edu email will help avoid any interruption when @ncsu.edu is disallowed for personal use.

In preparation for our year in review and the environmental health and public safety annual report, we are asking that you share your stories and help us celebrate the achievements our division has accomplished in the last year. Additionally, the office of finance and administration often spotlights great stories and share the good work!

Celebration of ServiceNow
EHPS recently had its 1st anniversary of using ServiceNow to handle service requests. Thank you to everyone who submitted one! We received a total of 422 service requests over the past year alone. If you’ve not yet used ServiceNow to request help from Strategic Initiatives, available services can be found here. If you have requested help through ServiceNow and have any feedback about how the forms could be improved or would like another process added to ServiceNow, let us know here.

Volunteer Opportunities
Did you know that employees are given community service leave? Did you also know that this leave expires at the end of the year? Put that leave to good use! The summer months are especially challenging for volunteer organizations on campus. Consider volunteering for Feed the Pack Food Pantry or explore other opportunities through DASA!
