The Fall Semester is Here!
It’s hard to believe that summer is already winding down. Of course high temperatures will stick around for a while yet, but that won’t stop the fun! Here are some important dates to put on your calendar as we look forward to welcoming our WolfPack back!
- August 15 – 17: Move-in! Be alert for traffic and parking changes!
- August 18: Late move-ins
- August 19: First day of classes!
- August 24: Packapalooza
- August 29: First home football game
- August 30: Census Data/Official Enrollment Date
Level Up!
Level Up information sessions with Strategic Initiatives will be returning this month! Sessions will be 30 minutes long and take place on the last Monday of each month from 9:30 to 10am. Expect to see a calendar invitation soon!
This month we will give an overview of the organizational tools available to help manage notes, project management, and increase efficiency. Tools discussed will include Google Keep, Google Tasks, and Microsoft OneNote.
Share Your Stories!
Every month we will ask you to reflect on your accomplishments and program updates and share them with us. We are excited to celebrate division successes, anniversaries, and achievements with you all, but in order to do that, we need you to Submit Your Stories! You can follow the link to submit one today, or look out for a monthly submission reminder in your inbox.

Recognize Your Coworkers
While you’re contemplating on what to submit to Share Your Stories, you may find that you really want to acknowledge your amazing co-workers as well! A great way to celebrate your peers is to submit them for a Pride of the WolfPack Award. Pride of the Wolfpack recognizes individuals who demonstrate university values. Recipients receive a certificate and mug sponsored by NC State Bookstores and designed exclusively for Pride of the Wolfpack winners.

In Case You Missed It!
Your Unity credentials will now be required to access student information in the Campus Directory. This requirement goes into effect on Monday, Aug. 12 and was put in place to safeguard student privacy and protect against phishing attacks.
To view student directory data:
- Visit the Campus Directory.
- Click the log in link at the top of the page to access the Shibboleth Login Services web page.
- Enter your Unity ID and password.
- Complete a Duo login process.

Volunteer Opportunities
Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity to use your community service leave? Try Feed the Pack Food Pantry! The Pantry is a student-run organization that operates in North Hall to provide free food essentials to NC State staff and students. You can sign up for 1 hour shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridays or a 2 hour stocking shift on Mondays.
